Booking procedure

Having booked your safari dates with your safari outfitter contact mandy.robertson@africanvideo.co.za or fill out our online quote request  for a personalised safari filming quotation.

Once you  have accepted our quotation your non-refundable deposit of 50% of the filming fee is required to confirm the booking.

At this stage we will allocate your cameraman and arrange his / her flights to suit your schedule.

We are based near Pietermaritzburg in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa so Johannesburg's O.R Tambo International airport is usually the hub for inter-Africa flights.

You and your safari operator will be e-mailed with the details of your cameraman's details and flight schedule.

He/she will then meet you at the arranged airport to begin recording your adventure.

Detailed daily notes will be recorded to ensure the accuracy of your edit.

On the last day of the safari your cameraman will discuss details of the safari, creative ideas etc which will  be passed on to the editing team at base. Any input or requests are welcome.

The balance of your invoice is due by the last day of the safari.

Please communicate with Mandy Robertson at mandy.robertson@africanvideo.co.za with regards to a completion date for your DVDs. Please note that we aim for a quality end-product and as the editing procedure can be a lengthy one, we will not compromise our standards for speed of completion.
